Bone Health Technologies (BHT) welcomes Dr. Pamela Peeke as its new Chief Medical Officer and board member, along with Dr. Kian Beyzavi and Marcie Hamilton as new board directors, emphasizing the company’s commitment to advancing osteoporosis and osteopenia treatment.
Dr. Kian Beyzavi brings a wealth of experience to BHT’s board of directors, having played a crucial role in developing numerous MedTech, Digital Health, and Biopharma products across 60 companies. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics from Princeton University, she focuses on leveraging dynamic data, AI, and machine learning for advances in patient care.
Marcie Hamilton, another new board director, offers her expertise in medical devices and consumer products. A Purdue University graduate with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, she contributed significantly to VivaRay Inc., which was later acquired by Varian Medical Systems. Hamilton also co-founded Potrero Medical, a company that developed a predictive technology platform for early detection of critical illnesses.
Dr. Peeke, a recognized authority in women’s health, menopause, and longevity, is a clinical scientist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland. As BHT’s Chief Medical Officer and board member, her expertise will contribute to providing a safe, non-pharmacological, clinically-proven solution for individuals with low bone density.
