The world is celebrating the brilliance of nurses as the top 10 finalists for the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2023 have been announced. These exceptional nurses, representing countries such as UAE, Kenya, Panama, Ireland, Singapore, England, Philippines, India, Portugal, and Tanzania, were selected from a pool of 52,000 registered participants from 202 countries.
The selection process was intense, with the finalists undergoing a thorough review by Ernst & Young LLP, a Screening-Jury, and the Grand Jury. The public also has the chance to show their support for their favorite nurse through a voting process starting next week. The grand winner, who will receive a cash prize of $250,000, will be determined after a final evaluation by the Grand Jury, consisting of top industry leaders in the field of nursing.
Dr. Azad Moopen, the Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, praised the brilliance and tireless efforts of nurses globally. “Nurses are the unsung heroes of the healthcare system and deserve to be recognized for their dedication and hard work,” he said. “With over 50,000 nurses vying for the award, choosing the top 10 was a challenging task for the jury, but each finalist has displayed brilliance in the field of nursing.”
