India’s fastest-growing healthcare technology company for clinical practice management solution for doctors, Prescrip, has grown tremendously as its telemedicine interactions are doubling every three months. The platform has seen an influx of an Eleven-fold growth as compared to the previous year. On a mission to simplify and increase the accessibility of healthcare, Prescrip aims to reach 300,000 doctors in three years as the market leader in the healthcare technology space.

The company’s growth trajectory is fuelled by the initiatives of the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) and the new Telemedicine and Telehealth Guidelines issued by the Indian Government. It is worth noting that the acceptance and adoption of telemedicine pan-India will allow virtual medical consultation and e-prescriptions for outpatients via telecommunications tools as per the rules set by the healthcare authorities. The new-age intuitive solution by Prescrip will play an instrumental role in helping healthcare practitioners record and access patient data digitally for speedy medical diagnosis, rendering clear prescriptions, etc. from anywhere, any time.

The company has also announced the introduction of new state-of-the-art technologies onto the app to facilitate smooth management of all clinical requirements. The upcoming version of the solution boasts an AI-powered smart appointment system, smart queue management, billing, and much more.

Speaking on the latest development, Shekhar Rawtani, CEO & Founder of Prescrip said, “At Prescrip, we are constantly creating solutions that result in increased adoption of technology in the healthcare segment and make the whole process more convenient, efficient, and secure for doctors and patients alike. Besides, technology has become an enabler amidst the COVID-induced disruptions, gaining a superior position for critical human interactions. We are elated by the positive response that the platform has received during this time. Our growth trajectory is highly encouraging, which will motivate our team to further innovate and introduce more value-added features on the go.”

Prescrip delights the doctors with its ease of use, enhanced security, and privacy, along with reduced complexity. To achieve this, Prescrip’s developers took feedback from doctors over the years and incorporated it into the app to deliver a seamless and superior user experience. Their integration with WhatsApp to provide easy and highly secure and private online consultations is one such example. The platform also goes a step further to send personalized medicine and appointment reminders to patients via SMS. It does all of this while maintaining confidential digital records of the patient data that doctors can carry in their pockets to view at their convenience.
