Epoch Elder Care is Expanding: Rooted in Dignity, Respect, and Holistic Care

Our Bureau

The continuous growth in the global aging population has amplified the demand for quality care facilities. In India, the situation is no different, with the United Nations Population Fund and HelpAge India projecting the elderly population to reach 158 million by 2025. Understanding this demand and the unique needs of senior citizens, Epoch Elder Care, an expert in dementia care and assisted living services, is all set to launch its fourth facility, Epoch Vincent House, in Gurugram, Haryana.

The soon-to-be-opened Epoch Vincent House is expected to exemplify Epoch’s renowned 3Es approach to caregiving: evidence, experience, and expertise. The focus isn’t just on addressing the medical needs of seniors but also prioritizing their overall well-being. The personalized care approach for dementia patients is particularly noteworthy. According to Alzheimer’s Disease International, over 50 million people globally suffer from dementia, underlining the significance of this specialized care.

This new Epoch facility is set to accommodate 18 elders and provide an array of services catering to both long-term and short-term care requirements. These services range from basic nursing care to specialized attention for chronic conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery, COPD, and palliative care. The wide coverage of these services matches the World Health Organization’s observation that chronic diseases account for 71% of deaths globally, emphasizing the critical role Epoch plays in this sector.

Reflecting on this expansion, Neha Sinha, Co-founder & CEO, Epoch Elder Care, highlighted the importance of providing professional help for elders suffering from complex conditions like dementia. She emphasized the need for holistic care instead of focusing solely on medical or physical conditions.

The design and structure of the Epoch Vincent House have been thoughtfully crafted for seamless connectivity and accessibility, ensuring a homely environment for its residents. The new facility underlines Epoch’s commitment to providing high-quality, personalized, and compassionate care for seniors.
