In a significant accomplishment, CEAT Specialty’s Ambernath plant has been granted a five-star rating by the British Safety Council. The plant’s occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices underwent a thorough, quantified, and robust evaluation, which involved documentation review, interviews with senior management, employees, and key stakeholders, and operational activities sampling.
According to Mike Robinson, CEO of the British Safety Council, the five-star grading is a testament to CEAT Specialty’s commitment to continuous improvement and proactive risk management. “This achievement is an outstanding reflection of an organization devoted to enhancing its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety, and wellbeing,” Robinson said.
Echoing Robinson’s sentiment, Amit Tolani, Chief Executive of CEAT Specialty, expressed his company’s pride in receiving the five-star rating. “We are thrilled to announce that our firm’s dedication to ensuring the safety and welfare of our employees and stakeholders has been recognized. Our aim is the continuous improvement of our health and safety management systems to maintain our reputation as a best practice organization,” Tolani stated.
