In a historic accomplishment, AyurVAID Hospitals in Domlur, Bengaluru, has become the first and only Ayurveda hospital to be accredited by the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) under the Transition Care Centre (TCC) Standard on May 20, 2023. This milestone demonstrates the evolving landscape of India’s healthcare sector, acknowledging the significant role of Ayurveda in complementing mainstream medicine.

As the most awarded Ayurveda hospital group in the country, AyurVAID Hospitals is at the forefront of integrating Ayurveda into healthcare, contributing towards its standardization and global recognition. AyurVAID’s precision Ayurveda approach, characterized by customized, evidence-based treatments, is aligned with QAI’s vision to establish an education, training, quality improvement, and accreditation ecosystem.

Receiving the QAI accreditation is not just a testament to the superior clinical outcomes at AyurVAID, but also validates the hospital’s commitment to providing a comprehensive scope of care. AyurVAID offers step-down-care for a multitude of health conditions, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, trauma rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric care, and even COVID-19 rehabilitation, among others.

MD & CEO of AyurVAID, Rajiv Vasudevan, hailed this achievement as a significant stride towards fostering a true partnership with systematic physiotherapy in the best interests of patients. By expanding the realm of traditional healing practices, AyurVAID is facilitating the integration of Ayurveda in mainstream healthcare.

The QAI accreditation is yet another validation of AyurVAID’s rigorous quality systems and commitment to patient-centered care. In October 2010, AyurVAID Domlur, Bengaluru, became the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital, further reinforcing its commitment to quality Ayurveda medical care.

As the third healthcare provider in the country to secure QAI-TCC accreditation, AyurVAID Hospitals continues to pioneer the integration of Ayurveda into mainstream healthcare. With the world progressively acknowledging the benefits of holistic healing, AyurVAID’s recent accomplishment signals a hopeful future for Ayurveda in modern healthcare.
